Stuart Bourhill is a seasoned business and technology executive, strategic advisor, and consultant with more than 30 years of leadership experience helping organizations align technology investments, business capabilities, and organizational performance to achieve strategicoutcomes in complex environments. He has advised executive teams, boards, and senior leaders across healthcare, public sector, higher education, technology, transportation, and professional services organizations. He is recognized forhis ability to bridge business and technology priorities, translating strategy into practical execution while building organizational capability, resilience, and long-term value.

In the healthcare industry, Stuart most recently served as Vice President, Information Management & Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at the First Nations Health Authority for 8 years. In this capacity, he led large-scale digital, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and operational transformation initiatives supporting health and wellness outcomes for First Nations communities across British Columbia. He developed strong partnerships within the Canada’s healthcare ecosystem toaddress important challenges in primary care, clinical informatics and virtual care. His leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, accountability, cultural humility, and a commitment to meaningful and sustainable change.

At the University of British Columbia (UBC), Stuart led major institutional technology and business transformation initiatives across Finance, Human Resources and Student services supporting one of Canada's leading research universities. At Vancouver International Airport (YVR), he championed technology-enabled customer experience, business and operational excellence initiatives within one of North America's busiest and most innovative airports. His leadership of enterprise-scale programs, modernization initiatives, and organizational change efforts have strengthened service delivery, improved operational performance, and enabled strategic growth. This breadth of experience provides him with a unique perspective on governance, stakeholder engagement, digital transformation, and leading change in complex, mission-driven environments.

A Professional Engineer, certified Project Management Professional and Program Management Professional, Stuart holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada. He is an active contributor to the broader technology and leadership community and is known for his pragmatic, trusted-advisor approach, combining strategic insight with practical execution to help organizations achieve sustainable transformation and lasting business results.
