Nancy Desrosiers is a visionary healthcare executive and registered nurse with more than 23 years of senior leadership experience across British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario's provincial health systems. She has led transformation in some of Canada's most complex environments, serving populations of more than two million residents and advancing system performance across acute care, community health, mental health and substance use, correctional and forensic services, virtual care, clinical operations and provincial quality and safety portfolios.

Nancy's career reflects deep expertise in integrating clinical insight with executive leadership. She has remained active in her registered nursing profession throughout her executive roles, grounding strategic decisions in frontline realities while driving modernization across diverse clinical and nonclinical settings. Her leadership has strengthened provincial governance, advanced cultural safety, Indigenous partnership, and trusted relationships across complex systems, while supporting large-scale operational, digital, and workforce transformation with a consistent focus on innovating approaches and knowledge for the future of healthcare.

She has held senior executive roles in Fraser Health, the Provincial Health Services Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health, and regional systems in Ontario, where she led provincial initiatives in emergency/surgical stabilization, virtual care coordination, justice and correctional health, professional practice, infection prevention and control and systemwide quality improvement. Her work has consistently focused on improving access, equity, and safety for diverse and vulnerable populations.

Nancy's governance experience spans public accountability, risk management, regulatory alignment, and national and international quality frameworks through her work as an Accreditation Canada surveyor. She is recognized for her strategic foresight, operational discipline, and ability to lead forward-moving change in high-stakes, politically sensitive environments, always grounded in her commitment to culturally safe, equitable care.
